It's fun to play at your own pace!!
As the game progresses and the years advance, you’ll buy and sell investments based on the economic indicators that are shown in the game. Your interpretation of that data and how it relates to the various investments will determine how well you do in the game. Your investments will gain or lose value based on the economic indicators – just the way it is in real life.
You begin with a stake of say $1,000 but that varies depending on the game chosen. You use your cash to buy different items – Businesses  (Manufacturing, Construction, Medical), Real Estate (Residential homes, Apartments, Office Buildings) and Financial Instruments (Savings Accounts, Stocks, Bonds).

Businesses can be of many different types, each relating to the economic changes differently.

A manufacturing company might be more sensitive to a changes in employment indicators than a service business.
Real Estate investments come in many forms - Single Residential, Multi Family (Apartments), Office Buildings as well as being located in different areas.

An apartment complex in Casper, Wyoming might be less sensitive to employment indicators than a commercial building in Seattle, Washington, however both might react similar to interest rate fluctuations.
Financial Investments, like other investments take on many forms - from the conservative ( passbook savings) to the more aggressive - Hedge funds and Commodities.

Small Cap stocks may be more sensitive to most economic indicators but they may have the best potential for gain - or loss!
Here are some recent High Scores. Results can be based on largest amount of holdings at the end of a certain time period - say 100 years.

A user's success can also be based on other methods - such as who can get to a certain amount( say 1 Billion dollars) in the shortest number of years. Of course group games offer even more interesting challenges.
